Say hello to iReader for Firefox!
Today, I’m excited to tell you that iReader is now also available for Firefox users!
You can now enjoy the same experience of iReader for Chrome on Firefox!
It’s still in beta stage, and needs some time before it can be released. So, if you find any issues, please let us know by filing a bug at our issue tracker.
Known Issues
- Firefox only prints the first page of articles (working on a solution for it).
- If you find that the animations are slow, you have the option to turn them off (Options > Enable Animations).

Dude, this thing is simply AWESOME.
It’s even better than the original for Safari.
Good Reader Extension and probably the best for Firefox. But after visiting a Page on which iReader works, the Buttons stays on every Page you visit after that.
Since i cant add review on AMO, ill write here: there should be an option to put icon wherever i want – statusbar, toolbar, tools menu, address bar. Icon is squeezed and streched vertically when im using TwentyTen theme.
Also, localization would be fine.
I think the problem is Ireader does not support firefox4-beta2.
A great addon! Tested it on several WordPress blogs
and the article recongition is better than Safari Reader.
Great job. I wrote a small review on my blog: http://blog.atgp.nl/index.php?id=90
Great extension! Works very well on Chromium.
On Firefox (on a Linux box), however, it is incompatible with the excellent Vimperator extension: it doesn’t work if Vimperator is installed. Can you please look into that?
Thanks
Hello,
This addon is great. However, I have a small issue. On some pages, when I scroll down or up, for less than a second there is a mismatch between the left side and the right side of the text.
Thanks.

Is there any further version? It does not support firefox4 beta now
Thank you very much! This was exactly what i was looking for after seeing this feature in Safari 5.0. I wrote a little blogpost, hopefully other people will pick it up too:

Hi,
Is there any chance to get auto-ireader function for list of specific site or domain? This needs to be an option in add-on’s preferences, so users can easily turn this off, set domain to be always ireadered and exceptions of saved rules.
This would be a great feature.
could you add background to chrome.
i think white is good, but black and green and green is good too.
i am from china. my english is bad.hehe. sorry.
